I would like to draw your attention to what I believe to be a highly unusual situation, "enjoying the experience of building a house".

Prior to making the decision to embark on such a quest we interviewed numerous couples who had, and we don't exaggerate, not one positive experience to share with us.

With such a positive picture in mind we did what numerous other couples have done, we did it anyway. To our astonishment it has been nothing but enjoyable.

Needless to say there are many people in your organization who have and continue to do things that have made this experience enjoyable but I would like to single out one individual in particular who I believe to be a cornerstone of your group., Dan Bedwell. As the superintendent of our project, Dan has been nothing short of great, easy to work with, always approachable, and relentless in his efforts to see that we get the product we want.

It is true that our project is still a work in progress but the only misfires to date have been owner driven and even with that Dan has managed to work around these problems to keep us on tract.

Once again I would like to thank you and your entire team with a special thanks to Dan for this experience.

Belated as it may be, I wanted to drop you a short note to let you know how pleased Trish and I are with our home. We could not be happier.

I have had the good and sometimes not so good fortune of having built 3 homes in Houston over the last twenty years. I have always heard people say that “good things come in threes.” Securing Allegro Builders services on this my third try is certainly a positive testament that there is truth to this proverb. It can be a harrowing experience building a home but I can honestly say that working with you and your staff was a smooth and rewarding experience. Your tenacity and desire to be sure every detail was as we wanted helped up greatly through the design and building process and the outcome certainly speaks for itself.

Should any potential future Allegro client desire to visit our home or speak with Trish or I about Allegro Builders proudly send them our way. If only more builders were as honest and dedicated as your firm is the world would be a better place.

If you are reading this stop looking for builders and have Allegro to build your home. They do what they say they will on the contract - no games, no price increase, just good work. They built our house the way and shape that I wanted, not their way, and I was involved in the whole process. All of the other so called custom builders and/or build on your lot types would not give me the freedom to build my home the way that I wanted. Allegro has no problem getting your ideas from paper to the final project. If I ever build another home I would just call Allegro and get started. All of the staff has time and knowledge in the industry and it shows the first time you meet with them. So stop searching for your builder and call Allegro now.

Our experience with our new Allegro home/office turned out even better than we expected. Allegro is known through out the inner loop as a premium builder but it was a scary decision for us to build a custom home. Would they be able to satisfy us - clients who are in Houston's most beautiful homes everyday? Building a custom home is always stressful. Would our working relationship and friendship survive?

After all, Allegro is one of our largest builder clients. We had
concerns, however the quality we have come to recognize as Allegro and the excellent lots Allegro has secured for their new home locations around the Heights made up our minds for us. Our new home at 1545 Heights, which is really built to be an office, is a joy to work at each day.

Visitors are amazed, often unable to quite recall if it is new or a glorious old home, updated and restored. We are keenly aware each day that it is new, as it provides us with state of the art features that make our work day a pleasure. We did not have a lot of time for making selections and certainly no time for reworking mistakes.

Lambert Arceneaux and his team started with a plan designed for a spec home. They listened to our needs, made suggestions for altering the house plan and arranged for the architect to engineer the needed changes, which were executed to accommodate our business, while maintaining the quality of a beautiful home in every way.

The project was finished, from inception to occupancy, in exactly one year (Lambert's predicted time frame, although we kept hoping for sooner.)To our knowledge, this kind of performance is almost unheard of in the commercial building industry and often not the case in custom home projects. The result is magnificent and has insured that our home/office will be nominated for a Houston Heights Association Community Improvement Award. It goes without saying, we' re very proud and pleased.
