The company’s continued commitment to excellence and quality extends to the Allegro team as well. Allegro’s team members, industry experts with decades of combined real estate and custom home construction and development experience, share in the company’s vision and philosophy. The staff is passionate about their clients, the homes they build and the integrity of the neighborhoods in which they build.
The same high standards apply to sub-contractors and suppliers as Allegro has established relationships with several of the industry’s top contractors and vendors to ensure high-level craftsmanship. To enhance these relationships,
Allegro hosts semi-annual vendor conferences. By acting as a design partner with clients, Allegro helps steer a project from the beginning to completion and streamlines the design process to ensure efficiency and timeliness |

LAMBERT G. ARCENEAUX, PRESIDENT AND CEO
“The most fulfilling aspect of my job is seeing the smile on someone’s face when they receive a key to their new home.”
Lambert G. Arceneaux
When Lambert G. Arceneaux launched Allegro Builders in 1997, he was building on a strong foundation of experience and entrepreneurial passion. The Texas native, known for the quality of his craftsmanship, started a remodeling and commercial foundation business after graduating from Sam Houston State University. Lambert grew his business to serve eight states, then settled into his homebuilding career in Houston.
Dreaming of creating homes from the ground up, Lambert started Allegro Builders, headquartered in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood. Throughout the past seven years, Allegro has grown in size and influence to become a $15 million company building custom and spec homes in communities throughout the core of Houston.
Lambert has a passion for period-style homes, and focuses on helping maintain the architectural integrity of the neighborhoods in which he builds. A clear philosophy of Lambert’s is that Houston’s Inner Loop communities have identities that should be preserved and strengthened. Allegro Builders was a finalist in several categories for the 2004 Star Awards, including interior design and overall architecture, reflecting the actions Lambert and Allegro take to match their words.
Married to Heidi Arceneaux, and the father of two children, Lambert has learned to balance responsibilities at work with responsibilities at home. “Allegro Builders isn’t Lambert Arceneaux,” he says. “Allegro is a team of highly qualified people who pursue excellence and take personal responsibility for our clients and products. Learning to share responsibilities at work with the whole team has allowed me to spend more time with my family, and give more time to my community.” |
