Allegro Team

Allegro Builders began with one man’s love of fine craftsmanship, historic homes, and learning what works. Lambert Arceneaux launched the company in 1997, after building a successful remodeling and commercial-foundation firm. Through this hands-on experience, he learned a lot about how fine homes are put together, and about what makes a building last for generations.

That tradition of hands-on learning now characterizes the entire Allegro team. We’re industry experts with decades of combined experience in architecture, home construction and real estate.

We’re critical thinkers, driven to find best practices. We love unified design and buildings that make sense. We constantly evaluate new construction technologies, do extensive research into period architecture, and then draw on our years of experience when making decisions.

LAMBERT G. ARCENEAUX, PRESIDENT AND CEO
Texas native Lambert G. Arceneaux launched Allegro Builders in 1997. After building a successful remodeling and commercial-foundation firm with clients in eight states, he dreamed of creating homes from the ground up. He built his first homes in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood and has grown Allegro into a $15 million company with custom and spec homes in communities throughout the Houston area.

Lambert is passionate about architectural integrity and about building in context, so that neighborhoods are strengthened by new construction.  Under his leadership, Allegro Builders has won numerous architecture and design awards.
A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Lambert is married to Heidi Arceneaux and is the father of two children.

Additionally, Dan conducts semi-annual training sessions for all of Allegro’s vendors.

Prior to joining Allegro Builders, Dan served in executive positions with custom homebuilders, including McVaugh Custom Homes, Lovett Homes, and Barron Builders. He is a firm believer in continuing education, with certifications from national home building associations and training organizations.

Dan and his wife Mary Beth have been married for 32 years. They have two sons and hundreds of “nephews” via his lifelong investment in the Boy Scouts of America.

EDWARD SABO, OPERATION MANAGER
Edward Sabo brings experience in business planning and analysis to his role as Operations Manager for Allegro Builders. Ed’s expertise includes transition planning and ad hoc analysis, as well as preparing financial impact statements used to drive business decisions.

He also developed standardized toolsets to manage supply and track cost savings. His construction experience includes project management of commercial construction with The Harris County Criminal Justice Center.

Ed is part of the historic Houston Heights community, where he restored a 1920’s bungalow. He holds a Construction Science degree from Texas A&M University and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from Houston Baptist University.
